In 2020 Indico Capital joined forces with Google for Startups to launch a premier pre-seed Founders Program with the aim of finding companies to boost the Portuguese tech ecosystem with amazing products that address global market needs, with clear business models and great all-round teams.
Since its inception after 2 batches of 321 candidates and 13 startups onboarded, the program is now welcoming applications for the 2022/23 cohort. Indico has €1 million to invest in up to 10 pre-seed companies this year!
“With this investment program and the partnership with Google, we intend to foster greater creation of startups and propel the most promising ones so that they can internationalize and enjoy greater investment opportunities, including access to more funding from Indico that can reach 5 million Euros per company”, said Stephan Morais, Managing Partner of Indico.
Focused on pre-seed tech and sustainability - Ocean related - companies or even SME´s, the program features Labs by Google, Founders Stories, Keynote Speakers, Ecosystem Talks, Partners Presentations, Mentors Office Hours among others. The 12-month founders program includes a 6 month period at Indico’s offices or online if needed.
